You may be asking - What is a trustee?
\n \nTrustees ensure their charity has a clear strategy \, and that its work and goals are in line with it s vision. A trustees role in a charity is to be th e ‘guardians of purpose’\, making sure that all de cisions put the needs of the organisations' servic e users first.
\n \nBeing a trustee can be very rewarding. As a trustee you have the chance to support and shap e the work and strategic direction of an organisat ion\, and you can make a significant difference to a cause that matters to you.
\n \nBeing a trustee offers the opportunity for professional development. It c an let you gain experience of strategy and leaders hip\, and boost your CV.
