It is a charity’s leaders, both Trustees and staff that decide and deliver the direction of work for the charity. As such they play a key role in ensuring that the strategic direction of the charity is focused on their beneficiary needs.

Delivered by the Foundation for Social Improvement and funded for Bexley by Impact in Action, this half-day workshop is aimed at Trustees, CEOs and charity managers and will cover the following areas:

  • Tools and resources needed to develop a Forward Strategy document, put together by the Trustees and senior staff at an annual Strategy Planning day.
  • Provide the senior staff team with a clear direction to aid them as they develop the annual business plan.
  • Provide a route map for Trustees to use in their regular Board Meetings to ensure that the Business Plan reflects and delivers against the agreed strategy.
