The foundation of good financial management with any charity is to keep it simple. This half-day training is a short introduction to the essentials of finance for charities.

 

It considers key financial roles and responsibilities and how they impact your organisation. It examines important concepts like budgeting, financial controls, book keeping, and the accounting framework. We also look at how to use the Charity Commission’s guides and how to create action plans and checklists.
