Accountable Care Systems and the Voluntary Sector in Bexley

Registration is closed for this event
Accountable Care Systems, Local Care Networks, Commissioner alliances, Provider alliances, Bexley Memorandum of Understanding......what do these terms mean locally and how can the Voluntary Sector and communities contribute and benefit?

Accountable Care Systems, Local Care Network, Commissioner alliances, Provider alliances, Bexley Memorandum of Understanding.....these terms are increasingly part of the everyday language in the health and social care and NHS vision discussions.

These terms mean different things to different people but what is clear is that it is crucial that the Vol2.30-4.00 @ BVSC,untary and Community sector is absolutely embedded in delivering the vision.

Come along to the first in a series of discussions to unpick what these terms mean and how they apply to your organisation and the people and communities you support.

In this first session we will be joined by Andy Fairhurst, the Primary Care Transformation Manager and will include:

  • An introduction to the vision of Accountable Care Systems (ACS)
  • Local ACS and Local Care Networks- the local vision and Memorandum of Understanding
  • Opportunities and challenges for Voluntary Sector
  • Q and A

At the second session (February-date to be confirmed) I have invited a representative from Bromley Third Sector Alliance who have developed a consortium of voluntary sector providers to respond to the Bromley interpretation of ACS and can help us explore concepts, models and next steps.
