Introduction to Outcomes and Impact

Registration is closed for this event
An outcome is a change that happens as a result of your work. Understanding what change you make opens up possibilities to use your resources better, to improve your funding applications and to show you are making a real difference.

This course is one of the six modules for BVSC's City Bridge Trust funded Impact in Action project. Delivered by the FSI, this course will provide an introduction to monitoring and evaluation approaches and practice.  It will be particularly useful to those who are new to outcome and impact measurement, responsible for applying to and reporting back to trustees, or are in the planning stages of a project or service. At the end of this course, participants will:

  • Have an overview of monitoring and evaluation approaches and practice
  • Be able to identify and describe the outcomes and impact of their work
  • Use simple yet effective measurement tools to gather evidence of their impact.
  • Be able to develop a monitoring and evaluation framework to help assess effectiveness and impact
