What funders want: looking at all this Impact work from a funder’s perspective.

Registration is closed for this event
What do trusts and individuals want to know about how your Voluntary and Community organisation is making a difference? How can you improve your applications, increase funding and help more people? (This session will assume some knowledge of the terms like outcomes, Theory of Change and Quantitative data which are covered in the previous sessions, so please get in touch if you need to know about these before the session).

What are trusts and foundations looking for?

You’ll find out about:

  • Different types of trust and foundation.
  • Common questions used in applications and how to answer them.
  • Practically how to have material ready for applications.

This session will be held over Zoom by our Impact Officer, Karen Jefferys. Karen has been working in the voluntary sector for 20 years, 15 of those involved understanding monitoring terms like these and 6 of these years were in the borough of Bexley.

This session is suitable for:

  • Staff and volunteers
  • Project workers
  • Person responsible for fundraising
  • Trustees
  • Beneficiaries that you want to involve in your work

All of whom can benefit from having a basic knowledge of the subject. Participants will need to know how the terms outputs, outcomes and impact are used in our sector so if participants have not been on the previous Impact in Action courses, just get in touch with Karen for an information sheet or 1-2-1 support.

Sign up today, it's not every day there's a free course!

Thank you to the City of London Corporation’s charity, City Bridge Trust for making this training possible.

We would like to take some photos of the session for use in publicity and reporting. Please say if you would prefer not to be photographed (or disable your Zoom camera).
