Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Training

Registration is closed for this event
This is a one-day, in-person interactive training session designed to introduce and embed core principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) for staff from Bexley-based charities and community groups. The session will be run by Anita Jakhu, an accomplished freelance consultant working in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion field with over 25 years' experience. It is offered to the broadest possible cross-section of sector staff from diverse backgrounds, roles, and organisations. The aim is to support participants in developing a shared understanding of key EDI principles and to spark critical reflection on personal and organisational practices. The training will also help identify what further support Bexley charities may need to advance their individual EDI journeys. The training will also draw on relevant sector examples and can be shaped to reflect local concerns or sector-specific challenges in Bexley.

There are a total of 12 spaces available on this training at a cost of £80 per person and lunch will be provided.

The event will take place in person at a venue within the borough to be confirmed following confirmation of registration.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration for this event opens at 12pm on Wednesday 2nd July and closes at 12pm on Wednesday 10th September
