We are looking for a part time Activity Co-ordinator who can lead our wide variety of activities and develop new opportunities for members. You will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, helping them to live the life that they want to lead and have access to a range of opportunities.
This will include:
- Supporting people to take part in activities that interest them
- Leading a variety of groups with a focus on improving health and wellbeing and reducing social isolation
- Developing a range of new opportunities with members
Just some of the activities that we offer include gardening groups, bowling, days out, quiz nights and walking groups so no two days are the same!! The people you will be supporting all have different hobbies and interests and the right person for this role will enjoy trying new things, be experienced in person-centred planning and experienced in providing high-quality support.
We support people during the day and in the evenings so the hours will be varied. This post is 14 hours per week, fixed term until March 2021. To find out more and apply please visit www.bexleymencap.org.uk
