Role Description

Post: Registered Manager
Working Hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: £33k per annum (Inc of OLW)

We are a registered not for profit charity with 30 years’ experience delivering diverse services to carers of adults, older people & children across the London boroughs of Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham & surrounding areas through community-based support services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to join our organisation supporting carers & people with a diverse range of social & health conditions. As the Registered Manager you will be part of the senior management team that is integral
to the success and continued growth of the organisation. You will be responsible for the operational day- to –day management of our services ensuring you lead on care service delivery & maintain the highest levels of quality demonstrated through CQC compliance & contract monitoring processes.
The successful candidate must also be committed to enhancing our services with an ability to manage and optimise several services across our operating locations, developing relationships with multiple external stakeholders. You must hold a professional qualification at Level 4 and have a minimum 2 years’ experience working in a management setting with supervisory experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake the Registered Managers Award as part of continued professional development. You will promote and reinforce a culture of responsive, person-centred practice and active support across all services. Conversant with Data Protection/Information sharing principles you will maintain and update information data we hold ensuring compliance. You will be a great communicator and can work independently. It is essential that the candidate is Microsoft proficient, have a full driving license and can demonstrate a clear understanding of Care Act legislation.

Your role will include responsibility for:
• Compliance with CQC regulatory framework, standards & inspections
• Nominated Safeguarding Lead
• Quality Assurance programmes
• Policy & Procedures
• Performance & contract monitoring
• Recruitment and selection of staff matched to the needs of service users
• Staff supervision & appraisals

Your working week will be based at our Head Office in Erith with opportunities to work remotely from home if required.
