We are looking for a Bank Care Assistant to support our Sidcup Day Centre which is open every weekday in Sidcup. Our bank staff are an important part of our team, covering when permenant staff take holidays, or are off sick. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a caring and friendly team and to make a real difference to the lives of older people and their Carers in Bexley.
You will be caring, patient and understanding with at least one year’s experience in working with older people (including people with dementia) and hold an NVQ 2 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
Hours: Zero-rated contract, working as and when required. There is no obligation to accept work when offered. On the days you work you will be needed from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Salary: £10.76 per hour
25 days paid leave per annum plus bank holidays
