Role Description

Community Wellbeing Co-ordinator (full time)

Salary £21,950 - £24,470 p.a. (including OLW)

A new Social Prescribing service will be launching across the borough of Bexley and is seeking to recruit 2 Community Wellbeing Co-ordinator’s to deliver the service to local people, one based in the south of the borough (Sidcup/Bexley area) and one based in the north of the borough (Erith/Thamesmead/Crayford area).  The service aims to support people with non-medical issues to access a range of community based services through signposting and one to one support.

This post requires a person with experience of working in a person-centred way within a health, social or community capacity who demonstrates the ability to develop partnerships, a good understanding of confidentiality and outstanding communication skills.  An advanced understanding of Microsoft Office programmes and CRM database systems is expected along with an excellent organisation and time management skills.

Although BVSC is the lead organisation for this service and is co-ordinating recruitment, the successful candidates will be appointed and employed by the organisation delivering the service in their part of the borough.
