Counselling Matters Bexley is a local charity that aims to provide free and low cost counselling to residents of the London Borough of Bexley and surrounding areas. The demand for our services is higher than ever in the current climate, so we are looking for a counselling manager who will help us to continue delivering a high quality service.
You will be a qualified counsellor with a minimum of one year post-qualification experience. Some management experience is preferred but is not essential. You will need to possess basic IT skills, be organised and efficient and be willing to travel to different venues around the borough. You will need to deputise for the CEO in her absence and will be responsible for line management of qualified counsellors, you will also have responsibility for safeguarding, fundraising and publicity.
15 hours a week can be worked over 3, 4 or 5 days. Evening and weekend work may be required occasionally. The post is for 6 months initially but may be extended.
