The Exchange is looking for a new member of the team to support with the delivery of a major fundraising campaign that will secure the funds required to complete the repair and renewal work needed on Erith’s Carnegie Building.
The Fundraising Officer role, funded by the Heritage Lottery fund and Architectural Heritage Fund, will work closely with Exchange Directors to develop funding bids and events that reflect the ambitions of The Exchange and the future role of the building within the community.
The Exchange Project is a partnership project between The Exchange and London Borough of Bexley (LBB). The partners received a Round 1 pass from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for a Heritage Grant which unlocks £190,709 of development funding, with a further £980,000 becoming available on the successful completion of the development phase. The development phase is also supported by the Architectural Heritage Fund and LBB. The Exchange needs to raise a further £280,000 in match funding during the development period. A Round 2 application will be submitted in June 2019.
