Role Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a key role in the operational management and strategic development of a variety of Inspire Community Trust's adult social care services.

It is a well-established, innovative, “not for profit”, Charitable, user-led organisation based in the London Borough of Bexley. It provides a range of services for older people and people with physical and sensory impairment in partnership with local authorities, local NHS and voluntary organisations. They are committed to enabling and empowering our service users to make choices for enhancing their quality of life and live at home as independently as possible.  

In this role, you will lead a dedicated workforce of just over sixty staff and be responsible and accountable for the effective delivery of a range of community services and day opportunities/activities support service. You will also support the Chief Executive with operational and performance management of services and contracts. This will include ensuring services are delivered to a high quality and are working towards Key Performance Indicators; are compliant with the strategic aims and values and would ensure clients receive a high quality of customer service.

They are looking for someone with a wide understanding of Adult Social Care coupled with good communication skills, an excellent background in service development and delivery, as well as strong analytical, data and contract management skills to be Head of Operations.
