Role Description

An exciting opportunity has come up working on a significant and radical transformation programme which is looking to transform end to end practice and processes in order to deliver personalised health and social care to Bexley residents. 

We are looking for a project manager who is passionate about seeing local change driven by human centered design where decisions about care and support are made as close to the person as possible!.  The vision for the future of health and social care is different and we are keen to visionary people on board to help steer and drive that change.  The job advert can be accessed Project Manager Advert.  We will consider a secondment arrangement. The portfolio of projects spans a wide range of services and its complexity requires a high level of stakeholder management, an appreciation of different cultures plus relentless grip on individual projects.  The level of change required and the pace with which it needs to be delivered requires the ability to steer all parties through unprecedented challenges.   

Working alongside the Programme Manager, you will provide effective project management to help deliver a portfolio of complex and transformational change projects.  You will also support the Director of Adult Social Care and Public Health to implement change across the system through redesigning our approach to delivering integrated health and social care services.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified (or equivalent) and have project management experience.  We’d ideally like you to have experience of working on Adult Social Care transformation but given the nature of our pathways redesign work, we’d be equally interested if your background is in health or the voluntary sector.  Experience of human centred co-design and co-production with partners and stakeholders would be desirable, as would the ability to agile ways of working.
