Role Description

Re-Instate is a charity working to improve employment opportunities, quality of life and well-being for disadvantaged people including people experiencing mental ill-health, people with learning disabilities and young people in the London Borough of Bexley.

We are currently seeking applications for an Early Intervention Employment Co-ordinator to monitor, deliver and evaluate employment activities of clients experiencing mental ill health.

The Early Intervention Employment Co-ordinators role will be to work with Primary Care to support clients experiencing mental ill health before they reach crisis point in the London Borough of Bexley. This will include job retention, job searching and employability support as part of a person centred approach

 

A key part of the vision for Re-Instate is the provision of employment services and activities that build sustainable recovery capital for clients.

We also design, deliver, monitor, and evaluate other associated projects for people with learning disabilities and disadvantaged members of the community.

The post holder will;

  • Co-ordinate, monitor, deliver and evaluate employment activities to clients experiencing mental ill health as well as to ensure that Early Intervention project targets are met.
  • Engage with GPs and GP Practices to promote Early Intervention in support of clients experiencing mental ill health.
  • Implement approved Employment Service initiatives.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, helping them meet their employment goals.
  • Provide information to assist in strategic decision making.
  • Represent Re-Instate within the local community.

The post-holder will need project development experience and a working knowledge of models of supported employment. They will be an effective networker, able to develop and sustain partnerships with a range of stakeholders.
