Bexley Community Champions are a group of over 500 volunteers across the borough who share health and wellbeing information with their communities, friends, families, and local groups.
Becoming a Champion is a flexible way to volunteer, you can take part in ways that suit your schedule. As a Champion, you’ll join a network of people making a real difference in Bexley, giving a voice to local neighbourhoods and helping to improve community life.
What We Offer:

• Membership of a dedicated Facebook forum.
• Access to a Champions WhatsApp group.
• A monthly newsletter with updates and opportunities.
• Regular emails with information and ways to get involved.
• Free training and awareness sessions to build your knowledge and skills.
• A chance to share your lived experience, interests, and skills while learning new ones along the way.
• Take part in one-off community volunteering activities.
• Invitations to meetings within the Bexley Wellbeing Partnership, where you can share feedback and have your voice heard as a local resident.
If you’re aged 18 or over and live, work, or have a GP in Bexley, you can become a Bexley Community Champion!
