The Women and Girls’ Health Project is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of women and girls across Bexley by making trusted information, specialist support, and healthcare services easier to access.
From adolescence to later life, we support women and girls through every stage of their health journey, with a focus on Menopause, Heavy menstrual bleeding, Contraception, and Pre-pregnancy care.
Working in partnership with local communities, healthcare professionals, and organisations, we raise awareness, reduce barriers to care, and connect women and girls to the support they need through the Women and Girls Health Hub (WGHH).
The WGHH offers a self-referral pathway using Lillie Hub for a free 30-minute appointment with a gynaecologist for:
- Period problems
- Perimenopause and menopause support
- Pre-pregnancy care
- Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) for non-contraceptive reasons, including treatment for heavy periods
