We are delighted to announce that Andrew Sayers (Local Service Manager, Bexley Dementia Service at Alzheimer’s Society) and Tania Bushell (CEO, Bexley Deaf Centre) have been appointed as the new Co-Chairs of the Bexley Voluntary Sector Forum.
Andrew brings a wealth of experience in leadership, community development and cross-sector collaboration, with a career spanning voluntary organisations across South East London. From leading community media initiatives in Bexley to strengthening local networks through service planning and stakeholder engagement, Andrew has consistently championed inclusive collaboration and grassroots voices.
Tania has led the Bexley Deaf Centre for over a decade, building strong relationships with local strategic partners and advocating tirelessly for the voluntary sector. With extensive experience in chairing meetings, facilitating constructive dialogue, and ensuring decisions are action-focused, Tania is committed to strengthening the Forum’s role as a strategic partner within Bexley.
Together, Andrew and Tania will work with Forum representatives and members to amplify the incredible work being delivered across Bexley, strengthen collaboration with local partners, and ensure the voluntary and community sector continues to play a vital role in shaping services and supporting communities.
We look forward to working with them both in their new roles.
