Drop in for fundraising, monitoring, evaluation or more!

If you have the odd question about your work with a Bexley voluntary or community group then why not drop in to see if Impact Officer, Karen can help?

On most Fridays in February there will be Zoom drop ins and on Wednesdays in March there are in person meetings at Crayford Manor House.

You can find out the timings and tell us you are coming here. Doing it in this way also provides the option to add the session to your callendar. However, you can just show up and see who else is there.

Some of the ways I'm changing what I do because of the rollercoaster of Covid

With government guidance changing and people changing the way they engage, the need to be agile is still at the forefront of many of our minds. Impact in Action, was designed before Covid was heard of, so from the very beginning Impact Officer, Karen Jefferys, has needed to adapt what was offered and how. Below are some ways that the project has changed, plus an overview chronology for anyone who wants a longer read.

How the project changed and why:

Successful 1-2-1s thanks to Impact in Action

Earlier in the year BVSC was able to offer four sessions with consultant, Claudia, providing a space for questions and reflections. Thank you to the City of London Corporation’s charity, City Bridge Trust for funding Impact in Action and making this possible. We're pleased to say that all four sessions were taken up and feedback was warm with all of the groups noting an increase in skills and (where relevant) improvements in sharing impact and making tangible results. Here's what participants had to say:

New free training, workshops and 1-2-1s from Impact in Action

  • Get it Done! Marketing when it's not your job
  • Excellent(ish) Excel
  • Trust Funder Questions...and Answers!

A small report on a big year!

Thank you to those of us who joined our AGM on 13th October. With so much happening in the sector we kept this year simple, online and brief  - which was tricky because there was so much to say! You can check out just some of the ways that BVSC has been supporting the voluntary and community sector in our CEO’s summary here.
