Women & Girls Health Microgrant Programme – Impact Report

Our Women & Girls Health Microgrant Programme Impact Report highlights the impact of seven projects delivered by grassroots community organisations supporting women and girls across Bexley.

The programme supported over 200 women and girls through projects covering menstrual health and period poverty, sexual health, menopause, pre-pregnancy wellbeing, health education, peer support, and intergenerational connection.

By working through trusted grassroots organisations, the programme brought accessible, community-based support directly to women and girls and helped address local health inequalities.

Across all projects, participants were signposted to the Women & Girls Health Hub, increasing awareness of the service and helping ensure that the knowledge gained can be shared within families and wider communities, creating a lasting cascade effect.
