External Funding Partnership Officer- Voluntary Community Partnership

Working within the London Borough of Bexley’s Community Partnerships Team, you will help us to raise our game in bidding for and securing significant levels of external funding that supports the Council and its voluntary and community partners to achieve their ambitions and strategic objectives. This includes;

 

Developing voluntary sector, public sector and private sector partnerships with the purpose of delivering better outcomes for Bexley residents.

Identifying and securing funding from a range of agencies – trusts and foundations as well as central government.

Project Worker

The officer will play a key role in providing project development in supporting independence for young people (16– 25 years old) with (ASD) Autistic Spectrum Disorder and (ADHD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in preparing for adulthood.

In return we are seeking an enthusiastic person who has understanding or experience of ASD and/or ADHD. A reliable person who wants to make a difference to young people’s lives by providing quality care.

Fundraising Officer

The Exchange is looking for a new member of the team to support with the delivery of a major fundraising campaign that will secure the funds required to complete the repair and renewal work needed on Erith’s Carnegie Building.

The Fundraising Officer role, funded by the Heritage Lottery fund and Architectural Heritage Fund, will work closely with Exchange Directors to develop funding bids and events that reflect the ambitions of The Exchange and the future role of the building within the community.

Community Development Worker

Slade Green Big Local is in the second wave of areas to receive £1 million from the Big Lottery via the Local Trust to improve the area so residents feel it is a better place to live. We are now moving into years 5 and 6 of a minimum 10year Big local project and we are looking to employ a Community Development worker who will engage residents and foster community spirit. The key aims of the job will be to:
 

Community Development Officer

A partnership between BVSC, Peabody and London Borough of Bexley has enabled the creation of this new role to address the information, guidance, training and mentoring needs of voluntary and community groups in Bexley, with a particular focus on the needs of Thamesmead community groups and borough-wide BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) groups.
